trying to encorporate basic notes apps for BES usage

We basically use BES for messaging, but I have customers asking for more usage out of the devices. There currently is no plan to envoke heavy development for push apps, but I would like to have at least some basic Notes apps with simple designs to be allowed via MDS. What will need to be set up from the server side. My role is the BES admin, not developer.

Not to plug my own blog, but I wrote about how easy it is to get started with programming for the blackberry (see here and here). In less than an hour, I had some basic functionality from an existing app working on our BBs. One thing I have determined, though, is that you need to test it on multiple blackberry models (if you are supporting multiple models), because the blackberry browsers don't seem to be 100% consistent.
