Remotely Operate Blackberry from Desktop
I'm coming to this particular post from a user-pov. I would like to request
a feature that could be built into the Blackberry Desktop Manager. A way of
utilizing the phone from the desktop. There is a number of software on the
market that allows some of the more popular phones to mirror their interface on
a user’s desktop and allow the user to make calls, send text, add and remove
entries onto the phone including address book and calendar etc.
As a front-end web developer and SEO, I work all day with my Blackberry in its
cradle near my PC. I am constantly in need of it to speak with clients and
speak with contractors via text and BB Messenger. If there was a way this could
flash up on the screen instead and not have to use the phone itself while working
it would be quite handy.
From Blackberry's point of view this would be a great piece of scalable
software for users of all makes of Blackberry and enhance customer loyalty. I
used have this software for a Sony P910 and was very reluctant to give the Sony
and software, it was only through a desire to try something new that I
eventually gave it up.

Lats couple of days I have found applications that allow for remotely controlling your desktop from a Blackberry, but, have found nothing that lets you do it in reverse. Surely, if it can be done way it can then be done in the opposite direction?

Unfortunately as I stated previously there is no software (not that I ahve found) that can operate a Blackberry from a PC. This is unfortunate and I am hoping a developer will take up the call for this and build something.
There is however software that can operate a desktop PC from a Blackberr. Made by SHAPE Services here: RDM+ for Blackberry.
